Why we love Clarkston!

Clarkston is located 45 minutes north of downtown Detroit on I 75.  The City of the Village of Clarkston is only about 900 population but is surrounded by much larger Independence Township.

We love:

Summer in Clarkston

and winter.

We have Sidewalks.  This is a walking town.

We have Parades.  Our house is a front row seat to the parades down Main Street on the 4th of July and Labor Day.  But you've got to get up early to stake out your spot. We even have a night parade at Christmas!

We have Water.  Park Lake, Mill Pond and Deer Lake surround the Village.  Deer Lake is a public all sports lake. 

We have a sense of Community and History.
